Pro-Bono

A student can satisfy his or her clinical requirement for graduation through Pro Bono.  To participate in the Pro Bono Program the student must successfully complete his or her first year.  To satisfy the Clinical requirement through Pro Bono, the student must perform work that meets the following standards:

1. Under the supervision of a licensed attorney;
2. Legal or law-related in nature;
3. Unsalaried and without other compensation;
4. No academic credit provided; and
5. Directly or indirectly addresses the legal needs of low-income clients, traditionally underrepresented  population, groups or organizations.

NO CHARACTER AND FITNESS BAR CLEARANCE LETTER IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRO BONO PROGRAM.

STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE A TOTAL OF 20 HOURS OF WORK TO SATISFY THE PRO BONO REQUIREMENT.
